Hand Washing Station Maintenance - Engaging Pre-school Teachers

ChildFund Kiribati is thrilled to conduct maintenance activity for handwashing stations at Betio preschools.

The maintenance is to ensure handwashing station run perfectively at maneabas, which will be primarily used by preschools. The maintenance includes, removal of basin rust, washing and painting, fittings, and installing new taps.

This maintenance work is being led by a former Business Incubator, Mr Taato and accompanied by Mr Kireata, an active Betio youth member.

Preschool teachers have also been taught to do basic maintenance themselves to ensure these handwashing stations work for many years to come. We are thankful for their cooperation and commitment to the important maintenance work.
