ChildFund is inviting any qualified teacher that can help with our Literacy and Numeracy program as well as the Social and Emotional Wellbeing program (SEW) to submit their application, for a part-time work. You will be asked to provide police clearance if you are selected for this job.
See below for the criteria needed:
· Teaching qualification, you should have a degree or diploma.
· For certificate qualification – a minimum of 2 to 3 years of teaching experience.
· For Primary school teaching background – must know how to teach Jolly Phonics and Kiribati Phonics.
· Have skills in Basic computing in terms of reporting.
· You need to be creative, active, patient, and flexible in your teaching as students will be early school leavers aged 15 – 30 years.
Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEW) criteria:
Qualification: * Must have form Seven Certificate or Higher (Related field – In Social Work)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both Kiribati and English.
· Additional training in social-emotional learning (SEL) programs or interventions may be required or preferred.
· Experience with online or blended learning
· Experience teaching at the Secondary Schools or Tertiary level
· Candidate must be mentally and physically fit.
Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Social and Emotional Wellbeing Lecturer. The Successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in the field of social and emotional learning, with a focus on theory, research, and practical applications. The lecturer will also be expected to contribute to the student's assessment and academic advising.
