More learning opportunities for Betio youth!!!!

Tuesday this week was the first day for 14 youth from Betio, commencing their journey on the Building Blocks program. This program was designed specifically for youth who need help with their writing and reading in Kiribati.  The program also provides the pathways for Betio youth to get into KIT Bridging Program (one of the criteria is to be able to read and write in Kiribati). So far there are around 15 youth from Building Blocks, who have joined Bridging because of this program.

Last Thursday during the final selection process for candidates for this program, the youth were told what the expected outcome of this program is.
