ChildFund Cleanup Campaign.

Children deserve to live in a caring, clean, and safe environment. That's why ChildFund has developed an ongoing programme of community clean-ups around Betio.

The most recent ChildFund clean-up campaign, in partnership with the Betio Town Council, was across two weeks in April and May. It was the first clean-up campaign for 2022 due to earlier COVID-19 restrictions.

“ The activity has contributed a lot in making Betio clean. The partnership between ChildFund and Betio Town Council has been hugely acknowledged around Betio for its great impact to the community. For the next clean-up campaign the Betio Town Council will give its full support with even more contributions to this important activity.” BTC Solid Waste chairman and councilor Taatoka said.

ChildFund is grateful for the support from households and the Betio Town Council as without this the clean-up would not be possible.
